First Day of Sixth Grade
Today was my first day of sixth grade and it was so exciting! We got to meet our new teachers and classmates. I was nervous at first but everyone was really friendly and welcoming. My favorite class today was art because we got to draw and paint our own self-portraits.
Monday Blues
Mondays are always tough because it's the start of a new week. Today, I had trouble waking up on time and ended up being late for school. I also had a math test that I wasn't prepared for, which made me even more stressed. However, I got through the day and reminded myself to be more organized next time.
Field Trip Fun
We went on a field trip to the science museum today and it was so much fun! We got to learn about space and technology. My favorite part was the planetarium show where we got to see all the constellations. It was a great way to learn about science outside of the classroom.
Sports Day Success
Today was sports day and I was so nervous because I had signed up for the 100m race. I practiced every day leading up to it and it paid off because I actually won! I was so happy and proud of myself for doing my best. It was also great to see my classmates cheering each other on and having fun.
Last Day of Sixth Grade
Today was bittersweet because it was our last day of sixth grade. We had a party in class and got to sign each other's yearbooks. It was sad to say goodbye to my teachers and classmates, but I'm excited for summer break and the start of seventh grade in the fall. Sixth grade was a great year and I'm grateful for all the memories and experiences.
