"Canada welcomed a record number of Chinese visitors last year, and I expect that this year will break that record easily," she said.
"China is moving to a more balanced growth model, a more consumer-driven growth model," said Joachim von Amsberg, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank's vice-president of policy and strategy.
"China is now one of our top five markets. Chinese consumers have the style consciousness of the French and Italians, and the spending power of those in the US," said De Jong.
"China is getting closer to the world's center stage which has never been empty. For centuries, different shows with the same old script have been performed here," Fu said. "The old script is mostly about power struggles which have not left the mankind with good memories."
"China does not need to overreact to the trade conflict, but it should improve domestic reforms," said Bottelier.
